		<description>Thanks cluberti for the post.  You&#039;re not the only one who has run into this.  I just sent the IE8 MSI to be installed at a bunch of machines via a basic install script on a scheduled task. 

Last week, I had a handful of machines do the test-run of the install, and they ran IE8 just fine for a few days... then I sent the same MSI to all machines yesterday, and my test machines from last week have reverted to IE6!  

I guess my script is going to have to check the registry for the installed version of IE prior to running the IE8 installer...</description>
